How To

How to make a perfect eggroll

Omelets is one of my favourite breakfast foods. How can you make them perfectly? I've tried many recipes and different methods but none have worked. So I am sharing some tips and tricks today to help you make fluffy, delicious omelets every morning.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. It is important that eggs are fresh from an organic market and kept cool until used. The yolks and whites will not form properly if they aren't kept cold enough. This can make your omelets look bizarrely colored. If you're going to cook them immediately, it is best if the eggs are still warm.

You might also try separating the egg before adding to the pan. You don't want the white to get mixed with the yolk, as this could cause the egg to curdle.

You could end up burning the bottom half of the egg if the egg is added directly to the heat source. Instead, place the egg in the microwave for 10 second before you put it in the skillet. The microwave heat will cook the egg just right without making it too hot.

Next, let us talk about how to mix the eggs. When mixing eggs, it is important to thoroughly beat them. Turn the bowl upside down and grab the whisk to do this. Then shake the bowl vigorously. This way, the air inside the bowl gets whipped around and mixes the egg thoroughly.

Now it's time to have fun: pour the milk into the mixture. Fold the eggs in the milk mixture by first pouring half of it into the egg whites. Do not be alarmed if there are still egg streaks visible. Once the omelet flips, these streaks will disappear.

After you have folded your eggs, heat up the oil on medium heat. Wait for it to get hot. When the oil is hot enough, add 1/4 cup butter to the pan. Stir it around until the butter covers the entire pan. Carefully open the pan's lid and add salt to the pan. An additional pinch of salt will prevent the omelet form sticking to your pan.

Once the omelet has formed, cover the pan again and wait for the top side to set completely. Flip the omelet over using a spatula or flip the pan upside down. Cook the second side for a minute or so. Serve the omelet immediately by removing it from the pan.

This recipe works best using whole milk. Skimmed milk is also possible.
